What is zeal? What difference does it make to have “zeal
towards God”?
I remember in my twenties - I knew a fellow that joined the church. During the time we associated with each other - his zeal and zest for the gospel was amazing. It was truly a remarkable experience just to be around him because his own testimony was inspiring. I have often thought about that time and about true conversion and what it all entails and I have evaluated my own conversion against that character traits that were once shown me. And unfortuantely I need to strive to be better at not letting my pride and fears sufficate the zest that is in me to be the example and light to others.
