“What a comfort to know that all who have been disadvantaged
in life from birth defects, from mortal injuries, from disease, or
from the natural deterioration of old age will be resurrected in
‘proper and perfect frame.’”
~ Elder Dallin H. Oaks
How does it bring you hope knowing that because of Christ we
will all live again?
It struck me in reading this chapter how this doctrinal teaching about resurrection is very symbolic. Our mortal body being raised never more to experience "corruption". Isn't this the freedom our spirit longs for? Being restored again to the presence of our maker is like the physical process of resurrection. Wow.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't it amazing that Amulek "got" all this despite being a recent convert! We have such amazing capabilities if we will just let go of the natural man instincts and let Christ guide and teach us. Zeezrom shows us the "part" of the natural man in this chapter.
What an inspired book!!!
